Origines - Pedigree

Son père SAN REMO, est issu d'un croisement entre le très bon Wolkentanz, champion des 4 ans en Allemagne en dressage en 1995, puis excellent perfomer en dressage de haut niveau, et de la jument Valente par Volturno. Valente n'a que deux produits, les deux ayant concouru en dressage Grand Prix et notamment en Prix Saint George. Son père Volturno est un cheval de concours complet niveau 4* (il remporta 2 médailles d'argent aux Jeux Olympiques et 2 médailles d'argent aux championnat d'Allemagne), et a également concouru en CSO 1m35. San Remo a produit des chevaux ayant tourné à très haut niveau en dressage (Grand Prix) et CSO (Exit Remo 1m60).

Sa mère PALOUSA CAPRICE, est la fille de l'incroyable Gribaldi, étalon de dressage international et très célèbre reproducteur, en effet il est le père de Totilas! Elle n'a pas été exploitée pour le sport mais plutôt pour la reproduction, mais elle a été élue 5 fois meilleur jument du studbook NAS en Hollande. Elle possède quelques frères et sœurs par la mère, Palousa Cybella, qui sont sorti en compétition amateur en dressage et CSO.

Sa seconde mère PALOUSA CYBELLA, était la fille d'un étalon appaloosa et d'une jument pur sang noire. Palousa Cybella a gagné son IBOP, compétition qui évalue les qualités sportives et comportementales des chevaux en Hollande.

His father SAN REMO, comes from a cross between the very good Wolkentanz, 4-year-old champion in Germany in dressage in 1995, then an excellent performer in high-level dressage, and the mare Valente by Volturno. His mother, PALOUSA CAPRICE, is the daughter of the incredible Gribaldi, an international dressage stallion and very famous breeder, in fact he is the father of Totilas!. She was not exploited for sport but rather for reproduction, but she has been 5 times best mare with the NAS studbook in the Netherlands. She has a few siblings through the mother, Palousa Cybella, who have competed amateurally in dressage and show jumping.

His second dam PALOUSA CYBELLA, was the daughter of an appaloosa stallion and a black Thoroughbred mare. Palousa Cybella won her IBOP, a reputable competition for mares in the Netherlands.

Performances - Career

De 2011 à 2015, il effectue principalement une carrière de CSO, il aura des résultats dans plusieurs concours nationaux, jusqu'au niveau 1m20-1m25. Lors de présentations étalon ou de barrage, il sautera 1m40 sans aucun souci, il fait preuve de force et de respect à l'obstacle.

A partir de 2015, il se spécialise en dressage, discipline dans laquelle il fait ses preuves et enchaine les victoires en approchant toujours de la note de 70%.

En 2021: Il participe à son premier Prix Saint Georges, reprise connue de tous pour sa complexité et son image de point d'entrée dans le haut niveau.

Palousa San Sebastian est le père de poulains nés en Europe, aux USA et en Australie. Beaucoup de ses poulains sont léopard, tachés comme lui, et également capés tachetés sur une base de noire ou baie. Il transmet ses qualités et est déjà reconnu pour être un étalon améliorateur. Il est le père des foals "élites", dont un s'est classé 5ème sur 800 partants dans la présentation, et une de ses filles de 2 ans a remporté la médaille d'or des femelles de 2 ans. Cette jument, gagnante et qualifiée cet été 2023 pour aller à l'internationale Show de Londres, a été 9ème de tout le pays. Il a produit aussi plusieurs vainqueurs de régions et champions de réserve.

Palousa San Sebastian has sired foals born in Europe, USA and Australia. Several of his foals are leopard spotted (black and bay based) and blanket spotted, and also solid coloured (black and bay). He passes on his qualities, and is already known as an improver. He sired an Elite foal (5th out of 800 young horses) and a Gold Medal winner as yearling a 2y old filly. This mare, won and qualified in the summer of this year 2023, to go to the London International show, she was 9th out of all of the whole country. He has also produced several region winners and reserve champions.

À en juger par tous les poulains, ils semblent avoir hérité davantage de lui que de leur mère. Il transmet plus à ses poulains que la moyenne (cela vient de son grand-père Gribaldi, qui produisait également comme ça). .Presque tous ses poulains sont beaucoup plus grands que leur mère, ils sont sociables, très curieux et confiants, ne sont pas peureux et sont rapidement indépendants.. Pour ces raison, il convient à une grande variété de jument, même aux ponettes hors cotes. Ses produits sont tous facile sous la selle.

Négatif WFFS et PSSM1

Judging from all the foals, they seem to have inherited more from him, then from their mothers. He passes more his qualities on to his foals than average (this comes from his grand-sire Gribaldi, who also producted like this) . Nearly all of his foals are a lot taller than their mothers, they are people-friendly, very inquisitive and confident, not scared and quickly independent..
