Origines - Pedigree
Son père ILLUSIONIST MAGE, est un jeune étalon lui aussi homozygote léopard. Avec son pedigree présentant aussi bien des grands noms du CSO comme du dressage en souche basse, il est lui même polyvalent et est valorisé en complet. Père déjà d'une quinzaine de poulains en France, il continue sa valorisation sur les cycles jeunes chevaux complet et CSO.
Sa mère MADGIE DU JOUR, est une jument qui a produit principalement des chevaux de couleur. Associée à des chevaux arabes pour produire en endurance, elle sera ensuite adressée à des étalons aux origines plus sportives (CSO et complet), pour produire des chevaux polyvalents.
His sire ILLUSIONIST MAGE, is a young stallion, also homozygous for leopard. With a pedigree boasting big names in both show jumping and dressage on his dam line, he is himself versatile and highly regarded in eventing. Already the sire of around fifteen foals in France, he continues to develop his skills in the young horse eventing and show jumping cycles.
His mother MADGIE DU JOUR, is a mare who has mainly produced colored horses. Initially bred with Arabian horses for endurance riding, she will later be bred to stallions with more sporting bloodlines (show jumping and eventing) to produce versatile horses.

En 2026, il sera présenté à l’âge de 4 ans à l’agrégation AES. Il va être débourré en début d’année, et commencer le travail pour se préparer à effectuer une saison de concours de CSO sur le circuit des cycles classiques.

Maori n'a pour l'instant qu'un seul produit, né chez son naisseur. Sa première saison de monte se fera réellement en 2026.

Aide aux croisements - Crossing aid
Maori devrait convenir particulièrement à des juments avec de la taille, auxquelles il apportera force, mental et bien sûr la couleur! Tout en contribuant à améliorer la locomotion au trot, l’équilibre général et la fonctionnalité. Il devrait revenir tendre les juments un peu laxes ou manquant de force dans le dos. Il devrait transmettre des articulations fortes, sèches et parfaitement orientées, recherchées pour le sport et la longévité des produits.
